The Fathers Network is partnering with several organizations around the state to conduct the Telling Your Story with a Purpose Workshop.  This 4-hour session is a basic training for parents and caregivers who would like to advocate for policy or systems-level change for children with health conditions, behavioral or mental health conditions, or disabilities. It covers what it means to advocate for change; how to define an issue that can be addressed with policy or systems changes; and how to draw on personal experiences as examples to make a point effectively and memorably.

Several workshops are currently scheduled (see the links below for locations, dates, registration deadlines and how to register) and if you’d like to have this workshop done in your community please contact Louis Mendoza at louis.mendoza@kindering.org.
