Join us for a dynamic and easy to understand presentation describing the critical information you need to know in order to effectively engage with your child’s education. Topics include a brief overview of special education law, important definitions, the IEP process, evaluations, using data effectively, facing challenging behaviors, high school transition, conflict resolution, working with the IEP team, how COVID -19 impacts special education and more. There will be plenty of time for questions, and parents with a range of experience levels are encouraged to attend.
