Think about it. Do you help in your child’s classroom or therapists office? Do you coach one of their teams, bring food for halftime or after the game, keep time or keep score? Have you organized a group of parents? Have you spoken to a group about your experience as the parent of a child with special health care needs? Do you help out at your place of worship? Do you help sell items to raise money? Do you mentor or tutor someone? Have you been part of a team from work that has gone out and helped for a few hours at a non-profit?

There are many, many ways to volunteer and no matter how you do it you deserve a big round of applause and a pat on the back for doing what you do to make your community better. This is National Volunteer Week. THANK YOU!
