A message from 4 Culture – The King County Arts and Culture Office:

Hello –

The Washington State Arts Alliance has asked us to reach out to artists with disabilities and leaders in the disability justice community, so that we may extend an invitation to you for their Cultural Congress and Confab, which runs from Oct. 11-13, 2018 in Ellensburg, Washington.

Arts, heritage, and cultural leaders from around the state will gather in October to discuss critical issues, network, celebrate, and develop the state legislative and cultural agenda for 2019. Ben Cameron, President of the Jerome Foundation, will give the opening keynote, and Cheri Buckner-Webb, Idaho State Senator, will give the closing keynote.

The Washington State Arts Alliance welcomes leaders from disabilities rights community to present a session on critical issues affecting the community. They are also seeking those just starting out in the field to join their emerging leaders panel.

The Washington State Arts Alliance will provide funding for hotel stay for two nights in Ellensburg plus $150 stipend per participant.
