Old Fashioned Fish Fry and BBQ For the Family – This will be a joint effort of the Fathers Network and the Arc of King County

  • 3:00 -6:00 pm
  • Judkins Park in Seattle
  • The Arc and the Fathers Network will provide the fish, burgers, hot dogs buns and condiments.
  • Bring a dish to share.
  • Special Olympics of WA will be on hand to lead us in games.
  • The grills in the park are very small so we’ll need a couple of good sized grills to be brought to the park.  If you can bring a grill let me know (louis.mendoza@kindering.org)
  • If we get a large crowd it might be helpful to have a few extra chairs.  So, if you have camping chairs you might consider bringing them.

Fathers Network Conference

  • Saturday, October 8th
  • Tyee Middle School in Bellevue
  • 8:15 am – 4:30 pm: Registration will open at 8:15,  Opening remarks at 9:00
  • Key Activities:  Keynote speaker (TBA),  8 Breakout sessions (topics TBA), Dads panel,  Open Mic time, Presentation of the Big Daddy Award,
  • Registration will open in July
