New Bellevue and Bothell Chapters Meeting Schedule

Here is the new schedule of meetings for the Bellevue and Bothell chapters for the 2016-2017 school year.  The meetings are changing to Tuesdays (Bellevue) and Thursdays (Bothell) from 5:30-7:00.  I hope you can join us for some friendly and helpful conversation. Is “Child With Special Needs” the best descriptor to use?

    The phrase offends some people but what to replace it with?  Some terms I've heard are developmentally disabled, person with a disability, child/person with special health care needs.  What do you think should be used?   To stir your thoughts I've included  an article on People First Language.
