Here is the new schedule of meetings for the Bellevue and Bothell chapters for the 2016-2017 school year. The meetings are changing to Tuesdays (Bellevue) and Thursdays (Bothell) from 5:30-7:00. The phrase offends some people but what to replace it with? Some terms I've heard are developmentally disabled, person with a disability, child/person with special health care needs. What do you think should be used? To stir your thoughts I've included an article on People First Language.
