The Washington State Fathers Network is an important piece of the support that Kindering provides to families. It provides opportunities for dads to meet in dad only settings, organizes social gatherings for families, provides resources and advocates for dads and their families. Over the past few years attendance at the chapter meetings in Bellevue and Bothell have greatly diminished. For that reason, the scheduling of monthly meetings in those two locations has stopped, effective immediately. All other Network planned activities will continue (e.g. other chapter meetings, the annual conference, campout, pancake breakfast, etc.) with the possibility that additional events may be added. I will continue to be a resource to any dad looking for information or a connection to other dads. In place of the Bellevue and Bothell meetings a group of dads has begun meeting informally over dinner in Kirkland and plan to meet monthly.
