The Washington State Parent Coalitions for Developmental Disabilities need your assistance in gathering some very important information. Many families have shared that their loved one’s recent assessment from the Developmental Disabilities Administration has resulted in a reduction of assessed hours. This has become a concern across our state.
DDA has verified that there has not been a change in the algorithm. We are trying to understand what has occurred and how extensive the problem is. We know how busy you are and would not ask you if it were not essential. Your feedback will help us define the problem and assist families in addressing this issue
