In this study we hope to learn about the impacts of Parent to Parent support in Early Intervention on families and children.
If you agree to participate in the study, you will respond to an online questionnaire on demographic data which will take 5 to 10 minutes of your time to complete. Dr. Dodds will then contact you to schedule an interview by telephone or Zoom, which will take between 30 to 60 minutes and will focus on your experience of Parent to Parent support. The interview will be audio recorded.
Requirements to participate:
- Be 18+ years old
- Be the parent of a child under 4 years of age who has a disability and/or special health care needs
- Have received support from a one-to-one Parent to Parent match
- Have had at least 4 contacts with your support parent during the first 2 months of the match
