The Washington State Department of Health announced a new resource site for disability organizations.

The site provides emergency medical service providers, families, communities, caregivers, and people with disabilities with contact information for nonprofit disability-related organizations and agencies in Washington State. The requirement to establish a resource site was mandated by the 2017 legislation Substitute House Bill 1258, known as the Travis Alert Act (RCW 43.70.490).

Participation on this list is voluntary. It will continue to grow as organizations choose to join. Any nonprofit agency which provides services and/or resources for people with disabilities in Washington state may choose to join the list.
